Hello!
Most people hate meetings! We think they are hard work, dull, fruitless, even painful, necessary but boring, to be avoided whenever possible. But meetings are the heart of our organisations, we get to discuss issues, make decisions together, get creative, practice our values and get to know each other.
When meetings are productive and engaging they help us move forward with our plans to make change happen, they empower us and they help sustain our groups.
Want to help make your group's meetings more effective, inclusive andenjoyable? Would you like to facilitate a meeting, but don't have theconfidence yet?
This workshop is for anyone who wishes to improve their meeting facilitation skills and is involved in a group working for social change. The day will include:
developing skills to help make your meetings more structured and inclusive
learning tools for large and small meetings
the opportunity to practice facilitating and gain feedback
